Organic products from pure raw materials
Kari's pine extract drink is the only organic certified pine extract drink on the market. An organic certificate for the product was issued in 2012.
The product is made from young organic vending bark and snum. The raw material is sourced from carefully controlled organic certified forests less than 50 kilometres from our production facilities. Pine trees are poured with a chainsaw lubricated with rapeseed oil during thinning felling, so large forest machines are not used and the collection of raw material does not cause open felling areas.
Organic raw material can be traced fully, so the contents of each product can be located all the way to the forest.
The minimum requirements for organic collection production are laid down in EU regulations. The entire processing and manufacturing process of the raw material is closely supervised and includes regular organic production inspections once a year, in which case the production facilities and the processing of the raw material are inspected.
